Sunday is 2 or 3 days away from the full moon. I reckon I just may get past my PB of 35KG. The topwater action here in Fiji has been staggering over the past 4 weeks on GTs and yellowfin.

I cant decide betqween these two. Estimated at around 25 but still not quite sure. Just want one to claim the winner without a doubt. Wouldn't mind the rain to stop either.I am going crazy

Jordan,

The picture angles are shot differently so its always going to be harder to pic sizes, though I reckon the top one is 25-27 and the bottom one is 20ish.....both are great fish!

Cheers

Aaron.

For now this one at the picture is my personal best but I don't know the weight.
I've just booked my new trip to Djibouti (archipel "the seven brothers") wich is an awesome place to fish even tough conditions are very hard (dessert temperatures !).
The catch of 3 weeks fishing with one boat last june (4 anglers) produced following result : 495 GT's, 59 of wich messured more than 1.30m and 12 more than 1.40m.
Record of the trip : 1.63m long and 1.12 around the body with the incredible weight of 66 kg !!!
They have taken also 45 GT's from the shore, biggest one was 45kg.
19 other specie's have been caught (spanish mackerel of 30kg and even 1 sailfish on popper).
Waiting towards depature date will be hard... ;)

Fishing is no matter of life or death : it's far more important !!
