Hi Tom,

Are you looking to use rods with an actual metal/plastic gimbal or rods with a rubber/EVA butt cap?

The GT max belt and the tuna max belt are the same. I like them and it's what I use, suits gimble and non gimble rods.

I have a question to add if I can without hijacking the thred. What do you do to prevent the rod gimble butt slide from side to side in the belt?? I do use a cheap and nasty belt. Are the more pricey belts more narrow in the bucket area to eliminate this?
It is soo annoying >:(

Haven't had this happen Warwick - so I would imagine it is simply a cheaper (Wider) gimbal design. If you are looking for one of the best value belts on the markets that handle a gimbal well check out the Braid Sailfish belt.
