buying a new heavy rod
Kasey Leong:
Hi Jay,
I would rather fish with the 75 - the 77 made my back hurt.
There is no 'too heavy' for New Caledonia ;) It's just how much sh*t an angler can take before he has to crawl into the cabin and cry himself to sleep :-*
Check Facebook. I joined the 50kg+ club but dropped my ticket into the 65kg and over. In the space of 3 hours. That may be a good thing, because if I landed both consecutively I would have been snoring for the rest of the trip.

Brock Arifovic:
Hey Kasey any chance you can post more of a report here with some pics (including your 50kg fish)for those of us who haven't joined facebook please.
PS: It's just to much bullshit to go through to join up!!!!!
Kasey Leong:
Guys,
Thanks for the input but I have found what I have been looking for: ripple fisher 79h ;D ;D
I will wait until May to buy it once the final tests are completed.
Jay, a few of my friends cannot believe you said that there is a rod too heavy for what I am looking for ;D ;D
Having said that, I am not a sadist either :D
Bwanna Surya:
