Has anyone had alot of success with these little babies? any pics?

the squidpencil is a decent stickbait and you can actually use it both ways. If you use the sharp end as the towing point, you get a wide swimming action and a surface stickbait. If you use the other  end, the lure has a tighter action and it dives deeper. You need to use a slower retrieve though otherwise it starts to throw circles on you.

The thing you need to watch out for is it casts terribly against the wind.
If it swims; I want to catch it!

Here are a couple of pics of fish on the Squid Pencil. I like them best in rough conditions where you can easily work them just under the surface. If you give it a rip into an approaching wave, they dive about 50cm under and stay there for the rest of the retrieve. In flat conditions they zizg zag with a strong 'walk the dog' action on the surface, but it is difficult to make them dive without some wave action.

Not Very big at all - excellent work by the camerman! Duncan just likes that shot -of course nothing compares to the shot of you with your 31kg GT   ;)

Neale,  the boys have hooked some big fish on the squid pencils .................they just haven't landed any   ;D
