well, jon suggested i get in touch with you. ill be in bali/Jakarta for about a month(apl/may) and im keen to chase one or two big GT,s.(Im gettin married in bali) Ive been to the Gili,s before, and saw a few nice GT,s there last june. was wondering if its possible to do your own thing around Lombok, or if its even worth it? Or should I get a guide for a day first...im on a pretty tight budget...wedding/reception etc...anyway, thanks in advance. ive seen a couple of operations on the net, but not sure if they are worth it (landbasedfishing) and a beach camp. my Mrs reckons her brother knows a place in east java, national park...
