Back to the Satiga S-Extreme... as well as the improved drag the handle knob has been made a bit more robust by supporting it on a bush at the bottom rather than a bearing.

and is that handle a straight swap for the normal dogfight, or can the knob be used?

Andrew,
I'm not exactly sure what you're asking?
The knob is the same as the Expedition and Dogfight. The difference is that the bottom bearing is replaced by a solid brass bush.

Cheers,
Gordon

I think I was trying to ask is can the normal one be replaced with the one with the brass bush.

Ahhh, I 'm with you now  ;D
If you can get the bush and the correct spacer and shim you should be able to retrofit the dogfight knob with this setup instead of the bearing. Of course, with all these things you never know 100% until you try it ::)

Cheers,
Gordon

You can always get a machining shop to make you the bushing. I did that for a Stella handle where the lower bearing gave (I had changed the handle and reassembled it wrongly). That modified handle is still going strong.
