2009 Fishing Expeditions

I was just wondering what people here have planned for there fishing trips for this year. For myself at this stage I have 4/5 trips planned, with the first one starting in March @ Bugatti with Nomad. Feel free to share your up coming adventures........................

I've got a trip planned to the Monte-Bello Islands on a private boat in April. Then it's off the Bugatti with Nomad in July.

Going to The Andamans in two days time - can't wait!

Wolf Lake in the Yukon in July (lake trout & arctic grayling)

Fraser River in British Columbia also July (sturgeon)

Hopefully Seychelles in October

If anything else comes up between times, I'm easily persuaded!!

Just got back from Shoalwater Bay a few weeks ago, after spending half of January fishing in Townsville (just reefies and tuna with my bro in law) or Port Stephens (marlin)

Off to New Cal to fish with LPB for 3 days in early April

Will be fishing plenty of day trips out of Sydney when the yellowfin come on, probably from April through to late July/early August

Possibly Cairns in August, waiting on confirmation from a friend

Am currently weighing up whether to go Diamond Islets with Nomad in November/Dec or do a trip to Fiji next Jan and then Bugatti Reef next year as well instead....probably the latter will win by sheer force of numbers

I'm in the middle of planning a trip to Rarotonga. I have been there once before but i was only young. Taking the family but am hoping to get a fair bit of fishing done while i'm there. Any one else had any luck round the Cook Islands?

Off to New Caledonia next week with LPB.On a 10 day expedition to the Southern Lagoon and down to Walople Island.
Other two anglers are from France so will be interesting cultural experience. They have fished in madagascar and Djibouti amongst other interesting places.
May go on another Nomad trip later in the year. In between times hope to get a good Yellowtail Kingfish on popper whilst on a livebaiting mission to East Cape in NZ. in April

I will be at Bugatti from the 30th of March, not long to go now. i have a few new things to be testing out. Getting excited.( that will be 1 down & several to go)

got a heap planned this year, mainly barra fishing, will try for some early run off fishing at shady camp on monday, then hit the east alligator for a week in late march.
19 April will see me in Indonesia for a month (right in the middle of the run off ), but will have a go at some land based GT,s in lombok, north bali, and the gili islands, maybe west java if I can persude the Mrs...
want to check out a remote island in indo, seen some pics of nice black bass in an Indo fishing mag...
