Home made stickbait
Stephen Polzin:
Well I finally decided to have a crack at making a stickbait. It's a shameless copy of a Carpenter of course. Fortunately I have a couple that have been torn apart by fish so was able to get the internal weights right. Pretty happy with the result, though the wiring isn't great. Hopefully will be able to test it out when the wind comes down again.
cheers,
steve
Mark Stotesbury:
Nice.............. will take 1 in solid black and 1 blue.
Stephen Polzin:
haha, thanks Mark but I'm a long way off mass production!
Here's another pic after a couple of clear-coats. Unfortunately the paint on the eyeball ran (damnit!) but apart from that I'm pretty happy with the results
cheers,
steve
Peter Lowe:
They look great Steve, well done....
Look forward to your report on how they performed for you....
Cheers

Stephen Polzin:
Thanks Pete, I've only made one at this stage. The gold one is a genuine Carpenter and mine is the blue one.
cheers,
steve
