Alex, I fished LHI in 06, sensational location, 20kg kings from the rocks at Blinky Pt, near the air port with easy access, live baiting the key.

I fished with Jack Shick, unbelivable guide. I managed many kings to 22kg, wahoo to 70lb and silver trevally to 9kg all on jigs, the wahoo on trolled yo-zuri 180mm hydro magnum lures in dorado color.

Paul worsteling from IFISH is there now, I spoke with him today, Wahoo at Ball Pyramid to 40kg.....and plenty of other reef fish, bluefish etc:

if you want livies, use garfish but dont catch them from the jetty at the lagoon, there too shy. catch them at Blinky Pt.
