Brandon,

Once again well done mate. I would take bad weather & more fish over great weather & litttle fish anyday!!!!!

Loooks like you guys had some fun.

BTW who got Krusty's AO (one off) stickbait?

Thanks for the report Brandon. Great to see some thug GT out of Bugatti. Enjoyed reading about Tak's couple of captures in shallow water sounded like mayhem! You could try imageshack if photbucket is getting you down. http://imageshack.us/?x=my5&myref

Thanks guys

Mick - fishing suit is a Daiwa Provisor gore-tex suit. They're really only available in Japan. I have to admit, having a fully waterproof suit made a difference in those conditions. They were truly awful in some spots.

Colin - I have no idea on the forumla - happy to leave it to Glanny. I was quite pleased to note my estimates were within a couple of kilos each time

Pete - knees pads are going to become a permanent part of my kit. They're a godsend in rough conditions.

Brock - Paul Chan won the lara stickbait and he deserved it. he caught the most fish on the Fullscale 180 popper which Chris kindly gave out

Ewan - I do use imageshack as well but prefer photobucket if it is working

Any monster wipeouts Brandon?

Hi Luke - yes, there were. I didn't suffer anything myself but Samuel Lee got obliterated by a true monster class fish. It ended up breaking his rod before escaping. I wasn't on his dory but the guide Glanville was saying it was among the biggest GTs he'd ever seen. Rob Ciotucha also got buried by a monster and there were numerous other cases of wipeouts. Rob also had one fish come out after his popper which left George Pang and myself with  mouth's agape!

Some two pack pics, plus boys having fun on Fly with some GT's mixed with the Sharks at the back of the mothership

Pete, it was mindblowing to start the trip with a 27kg GT on a warm up excursion 2 hours after getting to the Mothership ;D
