Nice work Kurt - looks like a great spot.  Have you got that bail arm flipping problem sorted out now?

Just looking at the pic third from the bottom - what line and leader system do you use?  I can see a loop in the main line near the top of the rod - what's that?

Yeah, I got the bail arm problem sorted.  Rotating the spool to the stop before casting fixed that issue.  Don't want to go swimming again!

The loop you see at the top of the pole is a poorly twisted, very stiff leader.  I am still working on perfecting the twisted bit and the leader I used is too stiff.  Not a big variety of supplies over here.  What pound leader do you use and how stiff is it?

Gday Kurt - the leader I use is called Galis, it's pretty supple and twists up well.  Sounds like internet shops will be your friend as far as supplies go.

Kurt - you can pretty much use any leader for twisties. Penn 10X is tough and really cheap in comparison to some of the more premium leaders and does the job really well. It is more a case of working out how to make the twisties than anything else.
