The First GT
Jay Burgess:
Nailed my first GT today ;D
No monster but glad I've lost my GT virginity. Wasn't much of a match for the stella but I'm impressed how hard they go for such a little fella. Next step... upgrading. I know there's some BIG GT's around Karratha so I don't think it will be too hard.
Jay Burgess:
When I caught them they made a grunting noise, is this normal for GT's?
Brandon Khoo:
yes, that is typical of GTs, especially the smaller ones which can grunt continually. I call GTs "onk onks" :D

The grunt of a GT, apart from their power ,is for me, their best attribute- the bigger they get the more awsome they sound, the biggest one I caught raised the hair on my neck with his "talking back"... it has to be heard to be believed. :o

I have found the larger ones do not tend to be so vocal generally. It's quite unique, isn't it?
