What size tuna are you after?
Bigger tuna will need a gruntier rod to try and work them up but the smaller (up to 30 to 40kg) tuna can be handled with a pe3 outfit if you have a lot of time. Lot of sharks here in Fiji so we winch them on the heavy gear GT style.
