Those coral trouts are dead set massive,been a while since i got one that size,i think last time i was there i got one about 12kg and dusted by a few in the shallows..

Just a few weeks,ill have a crack down the south of the island!!

Thanks for the the great report Kasey, it's a shame about the weather and Qantas, I would be devastated if my rods went walkabout and did not get them back in time to use on holiday!!. Any idea on the weight on some of those trout, they are huge!!

I don't know how big exactly those trout were but I would have guessed the biggest one that I'm holding up would be close to 20kg? David thought it was alot closer to 15 - but its a big fish and my biggest trout to date anyway.
