Homebaked
October 21, 2009, 08:18:46 PM
G'day fellas
I'll use this thread to show off some inshore plug rods that I make
Here is one ready to fly north to sunny bundy area. Designed for smaller poppers, stickbaits, flickbaits and metals with light braid and running upto 6kg drag. I think the days for spaniards and longtails up there are now numbered
Pictured here with my Hyper Certate running 35lb saltiga sensor8 braid

Hmm i like the look of that 2 piece grip. Are there any advantages/disadvantages with that style?

what are the advantages of the low rider guides over the standard MNSG guides?
does the 2 peice grip feel weird and have play when loading the rod up?

The lowriders have zero line fouling or grabing on the guides. The split grips feel quite good. Its all down to personal tastes on the grips though. My own one of this stick runs a full carbon rear grip

The Phantom

G'day all
Here is one of my popping sticks, the Longtail Lakomai. Lakomai means come here in the Fijian language. This one is done in the phantom colors and features the sinister looking fuji alconite lowriders in black and is the longer 9' length. Hope you enjoy the pics
