Andrew,

If you are looking for another body to spread the fuel cost let me know, work FI/FO so have plenty of spare time during the week and week-ends.
Also I have a bit bigger boat for when the weather comes up a bit.

Mat.

i heard today a bloke had a big GT come and swipe at a snapper he had on the line at south west rocks, by big he meant like 15kg but still not a tiddler by any stretch and in the bay at that.

cheers
Tom

There are reports most summers of GT's up to 20kg caught deliberately inside the bay on poppers, though it does seem inconsistent.

The offshore reefs hold more fish that have less traffic (generally!) than those inside the bay.

I think more work needs to be done to see if there ARE spots INSIDE that regularly produce.

I am available when ever you are Aaron, getting quote on the cage tomorrow.  Then the Galey will be a jigging and popping weapon.
