what is that YFT coloured stick bait? i think that's the biggest rainbow runner i have seen too

This lure is a Stick Bait 160 by Prokik (160g), bought from LPB shop in Noumea.
Rainbow runner was caught on light tackle, on a 9' Lucky Craft 16lb test line spinning rod. It was great fun! same outfit for the red bass you saw (not so big as it seems, it was a 16lb1/2 fish, which is good fun on such a light equipment! we also had tons of various fish on light fishing, red throat emperors (the one displayed was a 8lb+ fish), blue spot trevally such as this one, and many other fish.

It's definitely really worth taking some light equipment for NC!
