What lense is the photographer using?  You can see the dark patches in the corner of each image which suggests there's a bit of wide angle skew-iffery going on...  Did the photos come with some approximate weights or length/girth measurements Luke?

Whatever - there is some absolute brutes there  :o :o

Any info on rods/reels/lures?

Hi Travis,

I don't have any details as yet  - they are fishing a 2nd session as I type.

Either way, you should take the photography for what it's worth - AMAZING!  8)

Travis,

I think the dark corners are simply from a std lens hood / sun hood attached to the lens. It is very easy to miss the impact on the frame when using them ... I don't think their presence suggests anything untoward.

Hi Brandon ,

As Travis remark , it's all in the lens used , look like an ultra wide or even fisheye lens , judging by the rounded corners on some of the images .

it's still a stunning fish anyway you look at it but I have absolutely no idea how to judge the fish since his capture in Tonga.
That fish was a 30-40kg fish but it looked 60kg
