Guys - there seems to be a fair bit of interest in these rods. Now, no promises but if there is enough interest and people are willing to commit to the purchase, I will arrange for a parcel to be sent it from overseas.

I will obviously need firm commitments from people to do this as I do not want to be stuck with the rods. In other words, you commit to the purchase!! The price will obviously be landed cost on this end (includes freight, customs duty and GST).

how much for freight and when do you need a commitment by?

no hurry at this stage - I am simply gauging interest. I am unable to give you a figure for freight or duty at this stage because it is dependent on how many we order. The freight for one rod from Singapore by Fedex is something like $80 to $90 SING.
