Hey Guys,

looking at the above rod for swimbaits, has anyone used one with stickbaits and how capable was it?

For price and quality they seem hard to beat!

Cheers,
Sam

Hi Sam

I bought one a little while ago and my brother has since inherrited it and used it in Fiji.
As a PE8 rod, it's very capable and a sweet rod to use.
I dont know that I would call it a stickbait specific rod... but it works most lures quite well.

Cheers Rob

thanks for the reply Rob.

Whats the casting distance like with it only being 7'6?

Sam

No problems casting Sam... it's like any other rod I guess... match the lure weight up... hit that sweet spot... and it will cast a mile.
Obviously a longer rod will out cast it, but no worries about it being 7'6"... most of my rods are 7'6" - 7'9", so it's a fairly standard length.
