Glanville:- we fished our way over to a new anchorage today and we had a group of guys that we have converted to addicted Gt anglers and a group of guys who went to catch some Reds and trout for the BBQ tonight, the wind has picked up a little and the GT fishing has seemed to slow down some in comparison to the week passed in saying that we were back at the boat for lunch after hooking about 12 and boating 7 Gts, the guys were very laid back and decided we should go chase some reds in the afternoon, we sounded around and found a little bump on the bottom which looked like it should produce and it wasn't long before we had some fish in the esky for dinner, including a decent sized red emperor.
Nick:- We were out this morning looking for some good table fish for the guys. On our first drift we were straight into it, with some nice sweet lip, trout and Reds. We decided to keep moving to get to our new anchorage and fished along the way finding much of the same species. After lunch we headed out again but needed some bait first so set a couple minnows out and it wasn't long before we had a nice 12kg spannish mackerel in the boat. A bit of a slow afternoon with only a few sweetlip. All in all a nice relaxing days fishing.
