The new Rapala Slashbaits have a small 'bib', but are worked and have the action of a stickbait, are they categorized as Stickbaits or Minnows, or completely separate.
Luke, would I be ostracized [ausfishcized] for using them.
Brandon, is this the type of 'minnow', I mean stickbait in Fusilier colour what you've been looking for
.
The Blurb
"Its premium finish includes prominent scales and lateral line on the fuselage to capture and flash light like a beacon. This Rapala slashbait action cuts, darts and slashes its way through the water. Intended for multiple species, with an internal long-cast system built in.
These are shallow diving lures, whose natural buoyancy suspends the lure during pauses in the retrieve.
The adrenaline pumping X-RAP slashbait has extreme attitude with it's hard cutting, aggressive darting action. The integrated long casting system partners with an irresistible rattle and classic Rapal action.
It suspends and comes to a roll at rest to trigger the bite. This versatile lure is appropriate for all saltwater gamefish".
PS: the top pic is angled from the front which makes the 'frontal protrusion' look larger than it's 10mm length, true, LOL.
