June 17, 2010, 04:04:54 PM
WRC-H?B Rocket Rod

Okubo-san's fighting time for the 70kg GT was 13 minutes.
Rod not designed for GT under 10kg.
It is more than 2 years since we started development.
We will finish testing within July for product release in December.

SMITH have not advised me of how rating yet.
A large amount of high modulus material was used in order to increase the repulsive power.  To make it more powerful, a new material has been used in lower section.

Thanks Jim. It is a while since Smith had a real hit with a heavy casting rod, perhaps this will be it.

Jim

I would love to see video footage of how you managed that.
Care to elaborate on how you broke it ?

Oh me oh my.  Never thought much of the Tokara and got rid of mine not long after buying it.

Yeah i certainly didn,t replace it with another one, and actually ended up getting a new Carpenter and a Ripplefisher instead.
