Lol....thats exactly what I did as well......now have 2 Exps and 2 Stellas 8k......but I still ended up with a spare spool each. Bear in mind if you have a 2nd reel......that reel will need a rod....

PS: what was the rod he was using, long butted Shimano Caranx Kaibatsu range?

its the Long Cast LC8408...beautiful rod to use. You'll get use to the long butt as it makes casting alot easier. I was using my Smith Kerama at the time and was casting 15-20m short, using the same poppers or should I say Stick bait.
