good rod, easy to fish with and not expensive
i fish mostly inside the lagoon, no need 300 meters of bred

I just broke in my latest weapon on Saturday, Dubbed the "Green Talon" its a Kaiser KS78-8GT blank that I built up as a pe8 stickbait rod and on her maiden flight she sunk claws into 2 GT of 15 and 18kg.
My reel is a Stella 10k with a SW 20k PG spool.

It hasn't had much exposure at all but it's a nice blank for light-medium applications. Some input from AG in the design.

Saltiga Spartan 63S paired with a Saltiga Z4500 for smaller fish. (PE6)

Smith GTK 77 Keyolhu paired with a Stella 18000SW (PE10)

Still waiting to use them for the first time. Only a few months wait now.

Till my last trip, I have been using the combo of a Carpenter WildViolence 80XH alongside a Stella 18k spooled up with PE12 Avani GT. This set up has kept those old bones on my back in place.

From the next trip onwards, I will be changing to the Kaiser EL Toro 150 GT rod coupled with the Stella 18k, will be spooling the reel still with either a PE10 or 12 lines Although the rod is rated as PE8-10, I still feel there is no room for PE8 lines with regards to GT popping. There is simply too little room for errors with thin lines.
