sorry to hear that you missed a monster, hopefully you get it on your return in 2011 and i would not blame you for wanting to return,  if it were me i would want to return to -- no question's asked.


i already look forward to hearing all about it and seeing another bunch of great photo's (one of you with the monster you unfortunately missed) when you return back from your trip again in 2011.

Great report Luke, sorry to hear you missed out on a big one. It sure sounds like an amazing place. It looks as though there were some whoppers caught, what were the other weights of fish caught?

I will be in Tokara next year with Mogi-san and hopefully your trip will fall in same period so we get the chance to fish together
