Not sure where you are Sam but there is no Australian distro at present, so its either through Synit NZ, or via a reseller like KPS.
Just waiting to get a few pics back from Al Bevan's Shikari Charters, the rod performed really well on 200-400g jigs, but the weather blew up before I got around to trying anything larger. The rod handled the sambos we were on fine, and it took a benchmarked 15kg of drag a lot better than I did.

But the Venoms are no push-over either...here is a nice doggie landed 2 weeks ago in Tanzania by a Singaporean angler...estimated at 58kg.
