The fishing has changed a little bit in the past few weeks. The fish are now moving onto all of the shallow reefs and inshore, which means they are thinning out a bit. Good news is what they lack in quantity they are making up for in quality.
I had a group out a few days ago on a certain reef, lets call it spot X and we had some huge fish follow in the lures but not take them. Two days later we were back there and in the rougher conditions the big fish didnt follow they simply smashed the lures. We ended up with a couple of 20kg fish and then rory hooked up to the over 30 kg beast pictured. All of these fish were hooked and played out in 8 to 12 metres of water, it was a lot of fun thats for sure.
I now have Richard Foong here and fishing and weather are a bit tough, getting a few and broke a hook on a good one yesterday(bugger).
