Thanks for all the replies.  I have to apologise for late response been away for the last week and have only just manged to log in tonight (wife's family wedding and visiting mother-law ) to see some of the new suggestions.

Darren  i will do some googling about mango bay and find which other resorts are nearby.
Le Vie i also considered matava but thought unsuitable . I read you took your wife and 10 month old son there and won't go back .

Andrew thanks for the Australian info defiantly something to consider  have 2 friends doing a similar king trip early next year at 3 islands tempted also some guys are off to lord Howe to chase the yellow fin / kingfish casting in Easter options there but predominately looking for gt popping .I have noticed reports about gt in the Whitsundays  basically planning ahead for late next year
cheers for all the info
Gareth
P.s Is it possible to stay on kadavu or Ono island in a different resort and use a charter from another and yes Brandon and
Luke I did read about your post in regard to Matava and their plagiarism
Has any body use ocean blue fishing
cheers

Alternatively, you can contact Mark Armistead here who is a sponsor - http://www.gtpopping.com/forum/index.php?board=29.0

You can also contact the Mangon Bay guys directly - I dealt with them many years ago but never ended up going on a trip.

George Trinkler may also be able to help you with other options on Kadavu that may be more family oriented...
