Good stuff! Saw the actual rods at your shop a few days ago. Simple, no frills finish like Carpenters BUT minus the hefty price tag of course  ;D

Jaime Chee:

Dear Jaime,

We designed the rod primarily for use with 18000 size but because of the slightly extended handle, the balance when setting up with a size 10000 reel is satisfactory. Now most of the people I know who uses that rod has it paired with 10000 and PE8 lines.
Versatile with both 10000 and 18000 is my conclusion.

Regards

Thanks Ah Gu

Just another question about the rod it states that it is suited to PE 8-10 is that equivalent to 80-100lb . The reason i ask this is because if i put pe10 varias on there it is rated at 120 lbs . Where as pe 8 tuffline is around 80lb . Just trying to work out my combo before i go out and spend alot of money and get it wrong .
