Ripple Fisher ultimo 83m/mh
Garry Wong:
i know this rod is only available in the market not so long ago.
maybe anybody here got 1 already or have play around with it in tackle shop?
Brandon Khoo:
I've fished the 83MH. It's an excellent stickbait rod. With the extra length, it really can cast a mile.
Kelvin Lai:
hi Brandon,
In your view, how do u think this rod(83MH) will perform against the EP 85/36?
Thanks.
rgdz,
Kelvin
Brandon Khoo:
Gees, I really had to think about this one. You're not going to go too far wrong with either rod, Kelvin. I think in a comparison, the 83MH has a slightly softer tip. Action on both rods is similar, power is very similar. I think my suggestion is that if I was thinking only stickbaits, I'd go the 83MH. If I wanted a rod that will chug some small to just under mid-sized poppers, I'd go the EP85.
