New Patriot Design Fat Pat in Stock!!!!
March 02, 2011, 05:05:52 PM
We have just received shipment of the new Patriot Fat Pat Stickbaits and they look awesome. At 285mm and 195grms they are a great size for GTs and calling up big kings from the deep. All feature the aluminium finish for a natural flashing action and solid stainless steel rod up the middle which makes for a very strong and durable lure.

They can be veiwed on our website here:

The new art work looks beautiful.

PD gets 10 points for innovative new design and workability on most of their lures from me.

The detail in the new paint work seems to be a step up from earlier lure versions from what i can see in the pictures.

It looks like a modified version of the patrol, shorter and sitting at 90 degrees in the water i wonder if it casts better than the 'patrol'??

Is there a lighter version coming on??

I haven't put the Fat Pat through its paces yet, but there is no doubt that the Fat Patrol will cast a lot better into the wind than the regular Patrol. It is more or less the weight of the 345 Patrol but in the shorter length of the 285. At this time there isn't a lighter model but there is a second version coming in 6 weeks which is slightly longer and heavier. They look pretty similar, so I'm guessing the differences are more in the balance and action.
There is also a new version of the Atomic Pile in the works too.

Cheers
