Custom Synit Tuna Pro 200
BriceBludau:
Couple of firsts on this build. Certainly not the red abalone :) I can't believe how popular that color is, but it comes out sweet every time, so I understand. This was my 1st Synit build, and my Alps supplier finally started bringing in some different reel seat colors.
Blank - Synit Tuna Pro 200
Guides - Fuji ICMNSG
Seat/Gimbal - Alps TiCh
Grips - Shaped EVA
Sweet transition from the red to Synit's Kevlar Weave
Thanks for Looking
Jamie Moir:
Nice looking rod, nice too see you didn't bother with the wank factor of split grips.
Just wrapping my first rod now so I'm beginning to appreciate the hard work.
BriceBludau:
I do alot of splits. This customer just didn't want it.
Are split grips frowned upon over here? I generally just look at them as a way to add more design and decoration to the rod as opposed to actually being functional.

I'm probably just a bit boring but they always seem to be a bit of tedious when putting rods in rod holders etc.
Anesh Patel:
Split Grips look mean Brice.... Its just Jamie's preference .
I have a DS Seriola , DS 150g, DS 350g and DS 450g all custom CJ builds with split grips....
