Hi Tom, any chance of seeing one of these bent up?

How would you say they compare to the Komodo Dragon and Tokara?

Hi Jay,

I'm on my own in here today so getting a loaded up photo may be a little tricky.
When someone else is here tomorrow I will try to get a few minutes to do a pic.

When I have the picture I will expand on how the Komodo and Tokara differ.

Cheers
Tom

Hi Jay,

Attached is a photo of the Rocket lifting a 10kg weight

You can see the rod has a fairly fast action in comparison to the Komodo Dragon and even the Tokara
The rocket has a very crisp and springy tip section and starts to stiffen up around the 3rd guide down from the tip. The Tokara as a comparison starts to stiffen up around the 4th guide down.

The Rocket is definetly a dedicated popper rod. Ideally suited to a more experienced angler with reasonable rod technique that wants to get the most out of their bloopers.

I would say around 12kg is towards the upper limit of this rods lifting capabilities.

Hope this helps,

Cheers
