All,

Im trying to find a charter operator with an inclination to allow the use of 8' rods eggbeaters and braid on the SBTs can anyone reccomend one?

also is anyone is keen to organise a trip, if we get a few posts on here maybe we can get it off the ground, im thinking of going in May or June

From what I've heard, there'll be a popper/stickbait specific charter operation out of Portland in the not too distant future. Things are currently getting sussed out on how the whole thing will work. 

Should hopefully be out this long weekend sometime trying not to hook up to the millions of lures dragging behind boats.

A 153kg was caught on conventional with report of big surface commotion on the weekend...I might be driving down this weekend to fish.

As Sunny indicated ,Two up fishing charters, is very keen if the numbers are there to do special charters for popper and stick bait fishing ,either out of Port Fairy ,and Portland .expressions of interest .

Over 10 fish landed today over 100kg mark... More still hooked up! Can't wait for the weekend to arrive quick enough! There'll be at least one boat out tomorrow dedicated to casting lures, hoping they land something BIG!
