Views on Ripplefisher Iinfinity 80 light
June 20, 2011, 06:07:43 AM
I was fortunate to enough to come across a used piece and was wondering if you guys have any thoughts to share.

I have a Monster Hunter for chugging looking for a dedicated stickbait rod. The other rod that is really getting me thinking hard is a brand new Yamaga Blue Reef.

Any views would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance guys...

Pretty strong backbone at it's class but 80 Light max out on stickbait at 120g. Cast a wonder with Cherry Pai 200 but saturated on 130g Real Bait. As for Blue Reef go with 710/10 for wider range of stickbait

Hi Kelvin,

I fish with the infinite 80 light and love it. I am a big guy and put some weight behind my casts and this rod handles it. It is a good all round rod that I use to great effect with stick baits and poppers up to 125 grams ( excluding hooks). It is forgiving and very light so casting all day long is no issue.  For stick bait it works a treat. Hope this helps.
