Yaniv Adler:
hi guys
the SM777 and the SM887 are a pure stickbait / swimbait rod !!!

Andy Rowe:
Anyone used the SM816CR?? and will it would handle YFT over 50kg without issue?
I did a translation off the MC website and get the feeling it is taylored more for medium sized YFT, with 12kg stated drag one would think it has the backbone to handle bigger fish though. Clearly the 777 is the stronger rod but i like the 8 foot class for chasing shy YFT.
Thanks in advance
Chuen Fan:
Andy, in my opinion MC Works rods have a bit more power than their ratings. I haven't fished the 816 but I have bent one up and I'd have no doubt it'd be capable of YFT to 50kg, it won't be fun when they circle under the boat though.

What lures do you want to use Andy?
Andy Rowe:
Thanks for your comments Sunny.
Luke, I'd be looking at swim or stick baits from 50gm to 110gm maximum, and a rod that could handle potentially 50kg + yft.
Cheers
Andy
