Hi Doug,

As Brandon states, there isn't really anything similar from Abu to match the Saragosa and upwards...

However, we get a reel here in SA called the Abu Soron, which has been incredibly succesful for lighter tackle applications, using 15 to 30lb braid, and throwing plastics and small spoons, plugs, poppers, pencils etc, with some incredible fish landed, including GT's in the 30 kilo plus class, fishing from rocky beaches and shorelines in the surfzone, with guys using 9ft medium rods ( Berkley Air XH and SHimano Aerocasts XH or similar ) ....

While not in the same league as the Saragosa's and Stellas etc, they are pretty damn good reels, and have really lasted the distance on lighter set ups, fishing a different style to heavy popping or jigging.... very smooth effective drags, and hold up to the salt well... obviously this is fishing much lighter dragas than when heavy popping/jigging etc, but defintely a serviceable reel...

But in direct answering to your question, like Brandon says... "No"
