Nick:-leaving the anchorage this morning it was great not to be getting bashed around in Tight Stick. Cesar, Marcio and Dave were looking ready for action this morning. We started off by bouncing our way south from bommie to bommie which seemed to be quite productive producing or at least seeing a fish every 10 mins or so which kept the guys casting in anticipation. Dave was on fire this morning landing three fish from only four or five strikes. We had an early lunch and waited for the tide to start running out properly and when it did we were surrounded by football fields of bait on every spot we stopped at but mysteriously no GTs? We perservered and managed to find a ledge at the end of the day where the fish were willing to play the game and managed to end the day on an awesome note with three spannish mackerel and
12 GTs for the day. Lovely conditions.

Peter: Man how nice was it waking up to a light breeze this morning. I set off for the day fishing with Allan, Brendan and Stewart. The plan of attack was to GT fish at the best time of the tide and do some light tackle during the slacker periods. First thing this morning the tide was cranking in and the GTs were definitely far more aggressive than yesterday. We saw a lot of GTs up until lunch time getting busted off on a couple and getting absolutely blown away from the biggest chinaman fish I have ever seen. After lunch our GT ratio to actually being boated had to change and it did which was nice. We ended up boating 9 very nice size GTs up until mid afternoon.
The boys were keen to drop some plastics and go for a troll for the rest of the day which proved to be quite productive bagging some nice red throat and other reef species. On the trolling side of things we couldn't seem to get away from the sharkey mackerel and gold spot trevalley but none the less they are still awesome fun on the light gear. All in all it was a picture perfect day. Its days like today that you really get reminded how lucky we are to be fishing in such breathtaking locations such as this and guess what the majority of the time it's all ours to play with!!

Glanville:- What a way to start the day....no wind, sunshine and 3 mad keen anglers ready to take on what it takes to make the Gts feel sorry for themselves, Ken George and Stephen loaded up and let fly with some wooden fish into the danger zone, and it wasn't long before Ken snagged the first fish for the day followed by a cracker that George tamed on a sneaky little bommie, the rest of the day couldn't have panned out any better and we managed to find a piece of water that was holding a lot of fish, just about every second cast produced a fish and we managed to get stuck into a few good specimens and a total of 14 GT 8 of which George managed to catch, we had heaps of garfish around and the lure that did the trick for us today was the GT Ice-Cream which basically skips across the surface and imitates a garfish to the T, some of the takes we had today were unreal fish getting their backs fully out of the water and their mouth open so wide you can do a dental count before they come crashing down on the lures all this excitement was to be enjoyed on a glass calm ocean, unbelievable day and I already can't wait for tomorrow...
