This is, without a doubt, THE best trip report I have read on any forum and, I might add, would kick the pants off most magazine articles for a number of reasons though one to me is most prominent.
You conveyed the essence of the trip extremely well. Perhaps a little too well since my casting arm is twitching! There was no dilution of the reasons behind going on a trip like this, the experiences and friendships made and the fishing lessons learned.
Anyone can write about catching big fish in a pristine place. Few can really convey the feeling to a reader that they must now get off their ass ASAP and be on the next boat out there.
