I run PE 2 on my Ryoga over a Synit Deepshot 100g rod.

I will be changing down to PE1.5 on my Ryoga to run over the new Synit Kaha 50g rod to be released next year :)

Anesh what are your thoughts on the Synit? Was thinking of getting one.

Buy one Mark , you won't regret it.
The Synit Deepshot 100g is awesome light rod with plenty of backbone. My personal favorite for light jigging.
Don't be fooled by this 100g rod, as it has landed plenty of Kingfish between 20kg-28kg and the biggest fish landed with this rod is a 31Kg Kingfish.
Not many 100g - 200g jigging rods on the World Market can claim this! Fishhead sold out the DS100g rod in the first week they arrived in the country.
If you want another opinion ask the boys at Fishhead what they think of Synit Rods compared to what else there is to offer on the world jigging market today!

Thanks mate. Since 50 m will be the deepest I might just go for the PE 2.5 line for this. Based on that, would you reccomend the DS 100 or go for the 150? I've asked the Fishhead guys and they did comment on how good it is, I'm just about sold on getting one!!

Anesh Patel:
I would suggest the Synit DS100g for the Ryoga Mark.

Duncan O'Connell:
Hi Mark,

Perfect timing if you're in the market for a Synit as our latest order only just arrived.
The 100g Deepshot is a wicked little rod.
rated to max PE#3 and a max jig of 200g its a pretty versatile rod as Anesh said and has some suprising backbone if you really load into it.
I can send you a few photos of the road loaded up if you like?

Cheers
Tom
