Some Field Testing With New GPS Products

(1/1)

Luke Wyrsta:
Fished off Gladstone not long back with some new lures in prototype from Moutoukenmaru and a selection of Japanese rods that we are not allowed to disclose as yet.

Fishing was difficult but the fish extracted were of noteworthy mention.

The Moutoukenmaru was an awesome Flying Fish imitation with heaps of flash. It has an unbelievable porpoise action that GTs find hard to leave alone. Prosele Nanodax shock leader has also become a favourite - we have been fishing with it non-stop, so we are 100% committed to our advice on it's quality and attributes. The ideal mixture of suppleness and abrasion coating! A winner!

Jamie Moir:
Hmm GTs and kings, same boat, where?

SE QLD seems to hold some healthy specimans of YTK. Plenty of bigger ones about too, but pretty much the northern-most limit.

Jamie Moir:
Lucky buggers!

Mark Harris:
Very nice Luke.

Sounds like you might have hit the holy grail of shock leader there.  Extremely interesting.  So if I understand correctly, this a reasonably supple shock leader with a special abrasion resistant coating?  How does it go on diameter and how much suppleness is lost please, say relative to Varivas and Galis?
