What Hooks for What Lures!?

(1/5) > >>

Ben Rivers:
Hi Guys,

Seems to be an issue for most, being discussed in Mark Harris's lure board thread. For those with more experience than myself, can you please give a guide for some common lures?

Ie: Lure XXX = Front ST66 5/0, Back ST76 5/0 or Front 2 SJ41 11/0, Back Jobu 9/0

Craftbait GT3 150
Kong 180
Kong 200
Seafrog 120
Seafrog 150
Cubera 125
Cubera 150
Master Bomb 155
FCL Ebipop 140

Just to start - I'm sure there are other commonly used lures to be added.

Thanks Ben

Peter Childs:
Nice post Ben, you just beat me too it.  At the risk of maybe ending up with a twenty page post, is there a way "Wikipedia like" that we can just get a single page "rolling list"going that we can all add to / ammend on an ongoing basis?

Brandon? Luke?.........Mark?

Any other IT geeks out there?......No offence intended of course.

Luke Wyrsta:
We can do this. Let's have the contributions and I will consolidate at a logical point in a master topic.

Jamie Moir:
Anyone checked if there is a wiki that can share logins with SMF?

Mark Harris:
Thing is ... I am not sure there are right and wrong answers to Ben's requests, only individual prefrences.  That might make it hard to get a consolidated answer.

Any way I will kick off with what I personally choose to use on those lures (for the ones I actually use).

Craftbait GT3 150  ST66 5/0 (in rough water ST 76 5/0) but pop is cleaner with ST66. I prefer a GT3 to sit up in the water.  .
Kong 180 - don't know
Kong 200 -  ST76 5/0
Seafrog 120 - ST76 4/0
Seafrog 150 - ST66 5/0
Cubera 125 - ST76 4/0 or ST 66 5/0
Cubera 150 - ST66 5/0
Master Bomb 155 - ST76 5/0
FCL Ebipop 140 - don't know.
