OK, sorry I thought you were involved with Daiwa as i did not see any of your comments in quotation marks. I was giving you a chance to explain your case, so disregard the question.

I think the statement is extremely misleading, and promotional bollocks.

Hi Amr, i was being a bit toungue in cheek, you'd need a little super-computer inside the reel to be able to "manually maintain the drag system during the fight and eliminate hooks pulling free..." :o 8).

Perhaps it was an error in translation from Japanese to English, going off topic... i think it is back to the 'tuff tackle' aka "I'll be back" as 'Dogtooth Terminator' reel now ;D

This is mine I haven't used it out on the water yet but I have tested it and so far.

I haven't had any problems with it yet and is light but the line capacity isn't so great.
