Fishermen rods

<< < (2/3) > >>

Sydney Neal:
I have two of the gt72s and both are 7 foot 1 but mine are custom models and have no problem getting serious distance
Even with lighter lures but i grew up casting 5 foot 6 rods. I semi pendulum cast my lures or do massive load up of my rod and crack it out there best advice I can give is cast it like its your mates rod and give it plenty just don't get a wind knot it will want to jump out of your hands:-)

Luke Wyrsta:
I agree, they aren't ideal casting rods but being a slow, parabolic action this will aid in casting if you have good technique and a little power.

The 74 model is also another option

Wan Izhan:
any database on rod's weight?
i can only found the class model, length and PE size only.
also >100,000 yen!!!!

cheers

It works out fine for what I wanted it for anyway, plus the other model ends up longer.
(one for short encounter and the other for distance)

Thanks for your reply
