Awesome trip Brandon, love the big Trout!!

I would like to know the estimated weights. No matter what, debates like that will surface from time to time and it's life. I can understand it becoming an obsession form time to time but to me that just shows how passionate we are about our sport. Even if it's 5 kilos out I'd love to know approximately how big those GTs are, they are magnificent.

It looks really cool. One thing i stumble over is the scars over the face? Is it to reduce the sun or what??

Nice trip Brandon - must be great to get a shot at testing some quality gear like that :)

It's because they are GT ninjas.

yes, that was a really short fish but it was built like Mike Tyson. Here is a picture of a very sad looking leetle guy after an encounter of about thirty seconds with something monstrous

I spy with my little eye...

a leetle guy with a really short, fat feesh!

WOW  :o

the fish that did Tak over was amazing. it was one of those where the angler is simply powerless to do anything to stop the fish and can only hold on and hope. It looked so funny though. Tak was struggling to hold onto the rod and Kenji kept tightening the drag on him until he nearly got pulled in. The drag got to the point where the PE8 simply blew up.

Dogtooth maybe? Or did you get a positive ID on a big GT?

No sighting - just basing it on experience based on speed and that it ran deep

I reckon He was secretly happy when he got spooled. What he was dreading was that it would stop right when it reached the bottom of the spool and then he would have to reel it all back on!  ;D
