Andrew, now thats what we should be doing over here. Second Reef Pipe feathering on the outside, massive double up bombs heaving cavernous 18-wheeler sized barrels onto First Reef, and glimpses of poppers getting blasted amongst the fray and carnage! If we can only convince Charlie to take his boat up to the North Shore during a 25ft north swell :o  Hell, why not work some stickbaits out the back of 40ft Waimea on the way back too. Under those conditions, i think that "Tunda" would quickly become "wee wee time".

Thanks guys glad you like report, Nick iv'e been motivated by the great stories youve written on here always keeps me motivated when im on the road.

Andrew lol I never thought about the consequences of using our local slang and the meanings in different parts of the world, funny!

As for hitting the north shore and popping behind pipe, all I can say is that stretch of beach will humble anyone who thinks they can charge. In my younger days when I was bulletproof and pissing vinegar my friends and I used to charge at 15years old with second reef breaking and we were on bodyboards. Biggest barrels ive ever been in and waves that sound like thunder when they come down. When you wipe out you really find out what kind of condition your in :o. I actually have some videos that I saved to show my kids "Dad use to Charge LOL" Not anymore but I do occasionally surf with the boat while popping  ;D

First GT for my brother inlaw. Mom likes um and doesn't hurt he's a boat mechanic. His first GT on the Race Point 250.

My sons training continues, a juvenile GT caught by himself, his first! Fish hit on top while he was reeling fast and he got to see and feel the strike. He did a good job!

Boost him son!

A little too much :o but thats the way you Hamma one fish!

Sons first Papio (babyGT) on his own, a couple more years and ill move him up to 60gm lures ;)

Howzit Guys hope you haven't forgotten about us! :)

Been busy with projects for GT FIGHT CLUB here in Hawaii and it seems everytime I have a day off the waves are too big to get out. Things are settling down and were starting to get out and lay into some fish. Reports from the outer islands are getting better. We also have a new water camera we've been testing out and got some great shots hope you enjoy them. Here's some of our latest action....

The boys getting it done on the outer islands, Kawika and Bufo. I said it before I'll say it again your going to see a lot of action out in Hawaii from these guys. Great guys and fun to fish with.

My fishing partner Brian getting it done and putting in a quick hat trick on one of our school hour runs.....

Putting the Pressure on and stopping the run after a strike at the boat......

Tug O War.....

Longshot...

Finish It........

Its Over......

Another Hat trick for B....

First Day out with our new GTFC lures, thank you to everyone at Heru lures for giving us the oppurtunity to bring them to Hawaii you won't be dissapointed and just wait keep reading it gets better  ;)..........

B sitting down on the Job  ;D and putting the first fish on the GTFC lures the very next day after they arrive. He got hooked in the tail and back, interesting fight....

GTFC/Heru "Poi Pounda" Ulua 200

I took a flight yesterday with GTFC member Ladd Yoshimura to meet with the gang on the outer islands to drop off some Lures and catch up on things......

What a beautiful morning and lucky we live Hawaii........

Talking story with the gang Kawika and Bufo and trying to stay away from feeding the sharks :o.......

Yikes!!!

From popping the outer reefs to poling the flats, my buddy kawika taking care of us.........

Really good stuff Charles.

Another incarnation of Heru Lures hits our screens :)

Some very solid big fish there but I reckon the best is your son's - fantastic to see.

Aloha Rob,

Lol I keep gettin an earful from my wife about that as she is the IT part of me! I've been so busy with my real job and promo stuff for the lures I haven't had time to do anything with it. It will be done in the next few days and you'll see some familiar faces I've met the past year, it's been quite an adventure this GT Popping stuff  ;D
