I'm flying back into Singapore from my honeymoon in a few weeks and I was hoping to visit a couple of tackle stores while the missus goes shopping. In particular I want to pick up a few jigs and I am wondering if anyone else has any experiences with any of the tackle stores in Singapore.

If anyone can help me that would be great.

Thanks in advance,

Ryan

Hi Ryan

Let me know what sort of fishing tackle you will be most interested in and I can give you some recommendations on which shops to visit. Cheers!

Hi Steve,

I will be chasing jigs for both demersal and super deep jigging as well as poppers/stickbaits for GTs etc. I'm mainly hunting for jigs though...

Cheers,

Well then, you should definitely check out Anglers Outfitter and Kaiser along North Bridge Road, Sabre at Arab Street, Lure Haven at Bursorrah Street. Then there's Deep Sea (above 2nd photo) along Beach Road which stock plenty of "copies" of popular jigs and poppers. All these shops mentioned should satisfy your stated needs! They are all within 5min to 10min walking distance from one another. You can visit their websites which are provided in a post above for more details.

Then there's Xpedition Tackle (aka Anglers Hut) at Kim Keat Road, but it's located at a totally separate area. Hope these info will help!

Well I have written all of that down and now I just have to wait until I get there. The honeymoon has finally turned exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers again to everyone for their help.

Do note that the shops are closed on Sundays! I do hang out in the area on Saturdays for coffee with other fishios. If you happen to be visiting the area on a Saturday, I can probably give you the directions first hand.  :)
