Fin nor Santiago sa30w and 50w. I know it's not high speed but it's easier with the 2 speed. It's a bottom bouncing setup that I only use for the super deep stuff. Chasing blue eye trevala etc.... And realistically it's very easy to jig for them by just using long lifts, pump and wind style but alot slower. You may say crazy, I say different  ;D

Mark, some of the spots we are fishing are 450+m deep and the currents can be really strong. Need the weight to get down lol

Cheers. Ryan

The guys at JigTalk are exactly that... Talk.

Mark Harris:
Not only the weight of the jig but a big lumpy 2.5 kilo  Santiago 50W as well. Yes you are nuts Ryan :).

Ryan Theyer:
I usually give up after 3 minutes  :D. Plus we have 3 baitos on the boat who fish the same time. I couldn't do it for much longer. It's a long way up after all...

Brandon Khoo:
For such depth, wouldn't you be better off with an electric reel?
