Tackle stores in Singapore - Jigs
Andrew Susani:
Mate, you will be goggle eyed at some of the stuff you see over there. Not big shops, but good quality.
Lure Haven wall of Labo:
Can't remember which shop this was, but lots of cheap poppers which made for a nice photo (avoid most of them ;))
Those monster jigs from Ocean Tackle (or something like that, on Beach Rd)... I'm sure there are bigger ones around, but I didn't see any
Mark Harris:
You will enjoy it Ryan. Outside of Japan, I doubt there is anywhere in the world that is better for lure (be they jigs, poppers, metals, whatever...) shopping than Singapore.
Kaiser are in the Arab district as well (well, right on the edge of it).
There are many stores, all with an easy few minutes walk of each other. Some compete on price only offering mostly very cheap Chinese stuff which is best avoided, and others on providing a diverse range of often difficult-to-get quality models.

I definatley intend on going to Kaiser as I have heard that they have a lot of gear well priced.
Sounds like I had better head over to the Arab district as well and check them out. I just find it interesting to see what gear is out there as where I live theres only 2 tackle shops and they seem to think that the only jigs on the market are made by williamson!!!
Thanks again.

Steve Li:
The second photo is from a tackle shop called "Deep Sea" I believe. Its located along Beach Road which is the "main" road where most of the tackle shops are located in close vicinity. Then there are the "side streets" like Arab Street, Bursorrah Street where the tackle shops are.
Yep, you can really find a healthy range of jigs, lures, rods, reels and terminal tackle here.
Fishing wise, not much you can do unless you like some bottom fishing for Groupers, snappers and other bottom feeders. Then there are the commercial fishing ponds and fresh water luring at the reservoirs. ;)
Nick Wykeham-Martin:
Ive had good experience at Xpedition tackle (i think its also called anglers hut which is maybe why the expedition website isnt up to date). Its not in the arab street area but only a 7 dollar taxi ride. They have a lot of nice stuff there, Kaiser is also very good.
Mark Harris:
Angler's Hut/Xpedition Tackle is great if you can find it! Even when you reach the building, it is bloody difficult to find out where Richard is.
